Central information records

The ideal platform for registering entities of diverse types on a national and international level.

Integrated approval processes

Built-in control of conditions, the fulfilment of which is required to add the entities to the registry.

Compliance with legislative and technological requirements

A system in your agendas

A system of protocol-based data collection, also known as a registry, constitutes a suitable platform for collecting data of the corresponding focus, both on a national and international level. A registry holds a variety of types of extensive records for entities. Inclusion in a registry is subject to a strict approval process based on inspection of the applicable conditions and rules corresponding to its type. Electronic registries are currently considered the most effective means of ensuring the relevant collection of complex information, so as to enable its easy interpretation, statistical analysis or collaboration with other information system at a later point in time. Electronic registries are now deemed to be the optimal technology, considering the widespead use of the internet, and this scope necessitates that they be based on a robust database that is capable of data collection via online forms from practically anywhere via the internet and a web browser.

Registries must meet and fulfil a vast number of legislative and technological requirements in order to be able to to collect data of the required focus. Legislative requirements primarily concern the protection of personal data and the privacy of entities; dependent upon the security of the registries' data storage systems. System access, functionality, manageability, etc., are technological aspects of the system. One of the basic characteristics of electronic registries is that they often provide data to not only one primary administrator, but also to other entities and systems, resulting in the need for fairly strict requirements for registry system integration and information security. Solitea has extensive experience in the development of electronic registries of various types, ranging from an integrated agricultural registry to registries of professional qualifications, and also registries operated by the Ministry of Health.

“The aim of the Integrated Animal Registry project for the Ministry of Agriculture was to design and develop an information system which completely covers the issue of central livestock records and the related agendas. Information in the registry is easy for farmers to process and provides more detailed information that cannot be delivered by conventional post.”
